Assistant Director (Food Laboratories)
The Punjab Food Authority, Food Department, is looking for an Assistant Director (Food Laboratories) on contract basis for the period of three years. The basic scale of this post is BS-17 and the number of posts is one (open merit).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this post, you must have one of the following qualifications and experience:
- M.Sc. (Hons)/M.Phil./MS in Food Technology / Food Science & Technology/ Agri. Food Science & Technology / Food Science & Nutrition / Agri. Food Technology/Food & Nutrition/Food Safety and Quality Management/Food from an HEC recognized University having one (01) year of experience in relevant field.
- Masters/B.Sc. (Hons)/BS in Food Technology/Food Science & Technology/ Agri. Food Science & Technology / Food Science & Nutrition / Agri. Food Technology / Food & Nutrition/ Food Safety & Quality Management from an HEC recognized University having three (03) years of experience in relevant field after acquiring qualification.
The nature of experience required is:
- Practical Experience in Food Lab/Industry.
- Knowledge about the testing parameters of food and Laboratory Safety Protocols.
Note that only practical experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered and experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.
Age Limit
The age limit for this post is as follows:
- Male: 26 to 38 years
- Female: 26 to 41 years
- Transgender: Based on the age and sex of the contents of their CNIC
Gender, Domicile and Place of Posting
The gender for this post is male, female and transgender. The domicile required is all Punjab basis. The place of posting is anywhere in Punjab.
Syllabus for Written Test
If a written test is held for this post, it will be a one paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration. The syllabus is as follows:
- Qualification related questions (80%)
- General ability includes general knowledge, Pakistan studies, current affairs, geography, English, basic mathematics, Urdu, everyday science and basic computer studies (20%)
Agricultural Economist
The Water Management Wing, Agriculture Department, is looking for an Agricultural Economist on contract basis for the period of three years (extendable up to five years). The basic scale of this post is BS-18+Rs.165/SP and the number of posts is one (open merit).
PPSC Jobs Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this post, you must have one of the following qualifications and experience:
- Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from recognized University.
- M.Sc. Agri, with Agricultural Economics as a major subject with 5 years’ experience in the field of Water Management.
Note that only practical/administrative experience in the Water Management Wing, firms’ prequalified with OFWM, Service Companies and Consulting Firms associated with Water Management must be considered after prescribed qualification. Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.
Age Limit
The age limit for this post is as follows:
- Male: 25 to 40 years
- Female: 25 to 43 years
- Transgender: Based on the age and sex of the contents of their CNIC
