Assistant District Attorney:
Job Description:
The Assistant District Attorney will be responsible for representing the state in legal proceedings, providing legal advice to public officials, and preparing legal documents.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have either:
- An LL.B degree (with 50% aggregate marks) or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission having four years active practice as an Advocate.
- An LL.M degree, or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission and two years active practice as an Advocate.
Selection Process:
The selection process involves a written examination comprising of the following papers:
- Advocacy & Pleading skills
- Constitutional & Administrative Law
- Civil Law
Candidates must obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview. Thereafter, a candidate must also secure 50% marks in the interview to be eligible for the final merit list of successful candidates.

- A Master’s degree (second division) in English with a specialization in translation from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission.
- A Graduate degree (second division) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission with a diploma in Translation (at least six months) from English to Urdu from an institute or University recognized by Higher Education Commission.
