Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
To apply for the post of PSA, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: 18 to 25 years (male, female, or transgender)
- Domicile: You must be a resident of the relevant district and have a valid CNIC.
- Education and Experience: You must have an intermediate degree in computer sciences (ICS) from a recognized board and a computer certificate (MS Office) from a recognized institution, along with a typing speed of 35 WPM in English and 25 WPM in Urdu.
Instructions for Applicants
- You can download the application form from the official website of Punjab Police: https://punjabpolice.gov.pk/.
- You must fill the form and attach your attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, domicile, and two passport-sized photographs.
- You must submit your application to the District Police Lines of the relevant district by January 13, 2024. No application will be accepted after the due date.
- No claim will be entertained after the expiry of the date.
- After the verification of the documents, the successful candidates will receive a letter and the schedule and details of the test center will be available on the official website of Punjab Police: www.punjabpolice.gov.pk.
Quota for Special Categories
Out of the total number of posts, 15% are reserved for women, 5% for minority candidates, and 3% for disabled persons. The candidates belonging to the districts of Murree, Talagang, Kot, and Wazirabad can submit their applications in their previous districts of Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Muzaffargarh, and Gujranwala respectively. The government and semi-government employees must attach their departmental NOC with their application.
Selection Process
The applicants will have to appear for a written test first, and the ones who pass the test will be called for a skills test (typing test). The candidates who pass the skills test will be invited for an interview in the ratio of 3:1. The venue and date of the skills test and interview will be notified on the notice boards of the relevant District Police Lines.
Your practice for typing speed, as passing the English and Urdu typing test is mandatory.
