General Banking Officer Jobs – OG III: Overview

Location:

Multiple locations across Pakistan, including Bannu, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gwadar, Islamabad, Jhang, Karachi, Lahore, Mardan, Mianwali, Mirpur A.K, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sialkot.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized local or international university/college/institute (as per HEC standards).
• At least 60% marks or minimum CGPA of 2.5.

Age:

Maximum 26 years (as on the last date of application submission).

Experience:

• Preferably 01 year of relevant banking experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle front & back-office transactions.
• Manage remittance-related activities.
• Open and maintain customer accounts.
• Monitor inoperative and dormant accounts.
• Process online transactions, remittances, and issuance of financial instruments.
• Handle inward and outward clearing in line with internal SOPs and Prudential Regulations.
• Manage ATM claim settlements and maintain lockers.
• Handle cash handling activities when assigned.
• Process and manage term deposits (issuance, payments, balancing of TDR).
• Ensure appropriate operational and front-office activities are carried out.
• Assist Operations Manager in promoting/selling products or services.
• Scrutinize transaction vouchers on a daily basis.
• Issue receipts against payment transfers.
• Perform daily financial transactions and reconcile payments.
• Generate various month-end reports.
• Undertake any other assignments as assigned by supervisors.

Knowledge/Competencies Required:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective team player.
• Strong processing skills (volume, speed, accuracy).
• Customer service orientation.
