Eligibility Criteria
For Constables and Lady Constables Jobs:
- Age: Candidates must be between 18 to 22 years old.
- Height: Minimum height requirement for male candidates is 5 feet 7 inches, and for female candidates, it is 5 feet 2 inches.
- Chest: (For male candidates only) The chest measurement should be at least 33 inches with a minimum expansion of 1.5 inches.
- Domicile: Applicants must have a domicile from the respective district they are applying from.
- Education: A Secondary School Certificate (SSC) with at least 50% marks from a recognized board is required.
- Physical Test: Male candidates must complete a 1.6 km run within 7 minutes, and female candidates must complete it within 10 minutes.
For Driver Constables Jobs:
- Age: The age range for candidates is 21 to 30 years.
- Height: The minimum height for male candidates is 5 feet 7 inches, and for female candidates, it is 5 feet 2 inches.
- Chest: (For male candidates only) Required to be at least 33 inches with a minimum expansion of 1.5 inches.
- Candidates need a domicile of the specific areas. This is especially true for those from Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur tribal areas.
- Education: A valid Secondary School Certificate is needed.
- The driving license must be for LTV vehicles. The driver must have at least 2 years of experience after getting the license.
- Tests: Candidates will undergo a mechanical test and a highway code test.
For Track Assistants Jobs:
- Age: 18-22 years
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches for males, 5 feet 2 inches for females
- Chest: 33-34.5 inches for males (only)
- Education: Higher Secondary School Certificate with at least 50% marks
- Physical Fitness: Run 1.6 kilometers in 7 minutes for males and 10 minutes for females
- Domicile must belong to the respective district. Domicile holders of Settled and De-excluded areas are eligible.
Application Process
- Download the application form from the official Punjab Police website (http://punjabpolice.gov.pk).
- Submit the completed form with attested copies of required documents and a processing fee of Rs. 200 to the district police line by February 17, 2024.
- The selection process includes physical measurements and a road test. Drivers also take a driving test. Everyone takes a written examination and interview.
- Candidates with disabilities or minorities are entitled to a 5% quota. Women have a 15% quota for Driver and Traffic Assistant positions.
- The final selection will be subject to the candidate’s medical examination. It will also be subject to verification of educational documents and the national identity card.
